Who I am…
My name is Dr. Tracy Todd Woodson, and I have recently retired from the Brandywine School District as Principal of Springer Middle School.  I have lived in the Wexford community in North Wilmington for thirty years.  I am happily married to my wife Brenda B. Woodson.  We have two wonderful children who are products of the public school system.  My daughter attended both Harlan and Brandywood Elementary School in the Brandywine School District.  She then moved onto Springer Middle School and graduated from Concord High School. My son attended public schools in both New Jersey and Florida.  Both of my children along with my grandchildren live in Florida.

Why me…
I have twenty-five years building level experience in public school education. First as an Interventionist at Hanby Middle School, Business Education Teacher at A.I. duPont High School, Assistant Principal at Mount Pleasant High School and Principal at Springer Middle School.  I have four years’ governing board experience with Wilmington University Board of Trustees.

I support…
Teachers and their fight for a competitive contract, a safe and secure teaching environment, a clean and healthy building to teach every day and ongoing professional development.

Students and their families who want their children taught in an academically challenging environment that is clean, healthy safe and secure.
